Boot
Section
The gravity take-up (the structure
at the top of the boot shown above)
is optional and available on 42" and
48" elevators only.
• Externally mounted pillow block bearings.
• Belt tension take-up screws utilizing corrosion resistant acme
threaded rod.
• Machined, full length UHMW shaft seal at take-up plate bearing
surface.
• Hinged boot inspection door on both sides.
• Heavy duty crown faced double disc drum pulley.
• Easy access cleanout doors on each end. Drop down design used on
larger elevators.
• Removable panel at the top of the boot, between trunks, can be
adapted to dust collection
equipment.
• Standard boot construction of heavy gauge steel and bolted structural
angle iron frame with vertical
stiffeners.
Trunking
• 14 gauge steel huckbolt construction and heavy duty 10 gauge (3.41
mm) or 12 gauge (2.65 mm) steel with
continuous butt weld seams to reduce
corrosion from moisture and dust
accumulation.
• Fixture welded, structural angle iron flanges are continuously welded
on the outside and stitch welded on
the inside.
• Maintenance friendly 10' (3048 mm) inspection section with 9' (2743.2
mm) long opening at both front and
back. Front and back panels can be
removed in 3' (914.4 mm) increments.
Front removable panel with
inspection door can be located in 6
different locations for ultimate
flexibility.
• Durable non-conductive, SOFR (static conductive, oil resistant and
fire retardant) rubber belting.
• Unique bolted across tie design provides rigidity, squareness to
trunking and is independent of
flange bolts. This design allows
unassembled single trunking sections
to be easily assembled into unitized
sections complete with ladder and
safety cage. Unitized sections can
then be bolted together independent
of cross ties thus minimizing
erection time.
Roller Bearings
Heavy-duty, double row, pillow
block, roller bearings mounted
externally. (Optional fully split
bearing shown)
Hinged Service Doors
Hinged service doors located on both
sides of the head section provide
convenient access. Doors are weather
tight and flush with the head
interior
Belt Tensioner
Standard belt tension take-up
assembly utilizes corrosion
resistant ACME threaded rods
Elevator Buckets
Standard buckets are constructed
using durable non-sparking
polyethylene. Optional steel, nylon
or urethane buckets are also
available.
